The University College Groningen (UCG) is a faculty of the University of Groningen. The faculty is an international community, staff and students are from across the globe. The atmosphere of UCG is characterized as informal, committed and dynamic and the learning environments are generally small-scale and interactive.
In September 2014 UCG started a Liberal Arts and Sciences programme, which offers broad academic education with a focus on engagement to societal challenges through project-based education and interdisciplinary integration.

As a lecturer you will be teaching and further develop central Artificial Intelligence and Data Science courses in our program. We prefer you will also be able to contribute to teaching another computing Science course and one or more courses in our Mathematics continuum (Mathematics, Calculus, Linear Algrebra) or in the Statistics sequence. The position may also involve some combination of supervising bachelor theses or contributing to the teaching of other elements of our Liberal Arts and Sciences core curriculum such as projects. We believe it is important that you also engage in research, ideally in an interdisciplinary way which would also involve UCG students.
