“Supporting your academic goals.” That is what we do at Maastricht University Library. One of those goals is collecting and storing data in an efficient and correct manner. With the survey tool Qualtrics, data can be collected for both academic research and for education and business operations. The data collected there must then also be stored in the right place and in accordance with legislation and guidelines and must not be stored in the survey tool longer than necessary. As a data collection & storage product owner, you ensure that the tools for data collection and storage are set up in such a way that they contribute to efficient and correct data collection and that the tools are well embedded in the UM ecosystem for scientific research.
Your work focuses on:
We are looking for you if you are someone who is good at translating user needs into system applications. You are good at advising and taking decisions and have a strong organizational sensitivity. You are preferably familiar with the process of scientific research and/or with data collection for monitoring and optimizing education or business operations. You also have (basic) knowledge of the requirements for collecting and storing data, e.g. GDPR legislation.
