Job description

Would you like to help students, researchers and professionals to communicate more effectively in English?  Do you have extensive experience teaching academic English? Do you have a proactive mindset? And do you enjoy working with a fun and enthusiastic team in a dynamic environment? Then Radboud in’to Languages has a position that might interest you.

Are you passionate about teaching, and do you have experience teaching academic language and communication skills? Then you might be the English lecturer we are looking for. As an English lecturer at in’to Languages, you will provide a range of English courses and training programmes at different levels. Within Radboud University and Wageningen University & Research, this will include courses on speaking and writing skills for Bachelor’s and Master’s students and PhD candidates, such as Effective Writing Strategies, Academic English Conversation and Pronunciation, Writing Scientific Articles and Popular Science Writing. In addition to courses for students, PhD candidates and lecturers, you will also provide tailor-made courses for professionals who specifically want to improve their communication, presentation or writing skills in English. We provide these courses for internal and external clients, individuals, teams and departments.

You will be joining an enthusiastic and passionate team of eight language and communication trainers. In collaboration with your colleagues, you will keep track of developments regarding language education (online and in person) and develop new courses. You will also conduct intake interviews, advise potential students and consult with clients on tailor-made courses.

In’to Languages offers you the opportunity to develop your professional skills as a lecturer and find your niche in the field along the way. For example, there is an annual training day, workshops and presentations are organised regularly and you will visit national and international conferences.
