For the Assistant Professor tenure-track position, we seek candidates with exceptional research potential and strong teaching ability, whose work fits our orientation towards operations and supply chain scholarship from a managerial and empirical perspective.  

The candidate must have obtained, or expect to obtain shortly, a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Management Science, or a closely related field. Ph.D. candidate applicants will be expected to complete their Ph.D. prior to taking up employment. 

For the Associate/ Full Professor and Open Rank position, we seek candidates with a proven track record in research, as evidenced by publications in prominent operations and supply chain management journals and (individual) research grants. Considering the position will be hosted in the ISCM section, it will be a plus if the candidate is a boundary spanner between supply chain management and information management.

For the positions of Assistant Professor, we offer two fulltime tenure-track positions for six years. Tenure decisions for Assistant Professors are made in their fifth year based on performance indicators agreed upon at the start of the appointment. Candidates may be eligible for an early tenure decision and accompanying starter grant funded by the Dutch government.  For the fulltime position of Associate Professor or Full Professor, we offer a permanent contract. The salary is based on the Collective Labour Agreement Universities (vsnu.nl).
 
You are entitled to a holiday allowance amounting to 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% of your gross yearly income. Faculty moving to the Netherlands may be eligible for 30% tax abatement for a period of five years.
