The mission of CWTe is to stimulate collaboration between researchers that work on various wireless topics in different research groups within the faculty of Electrical Engineering. It also provides support to researchers who aim to set up or join funding proposals. At the same time, the center fosters collaboration with external entities, particularly industry, and maintains a strong network of partners. CWTe is TU/e's external representation for all questions concerning wireless matters and acts as single point-of-contact for external parties.
The Electrical Engineering faculty has grown and is expected to further grow in the future. For CWTe to keep up with the needs of the faculty, we are looking for a senior business developer. The main tasks of a senior business developer for the center are to
- Stay up-to-date on funding opportunities and the relevant regulations.
- Support and to help initiate and drive research proposals and necessary co.nsortium building.
- Support the project proposal process all the way to project implementation
- In specific cases, support project execution processes, e.g. monitoring deliverable deadlines, project finances etc. in a project management role.
- Scout for funding and co-operation opportunities that meet the research interests within the faculty (e.g. at brokerage events, industry), bring parties together, advise/review proposals.
- Take the initiative to propose new research opportunities.
- Act as go-to person for faculty researchers (incl. for legal, IPR etc).
The business developer reports to the director of CWTe as well as the managing director of the faculty of Electrical Engineering.
