Employer

The Interdisciplinary Research Platform (IRP) has been founded to establish novel collaborations between comlpementary natural scientists, crossing the boarders of these institutes. Often, these projects also cross the boarders of the faculty, by involving other (Radboud) scientists or private partners. Green Information Technology, making the world more sustainable through computer technologies, one of the three focus areas within the IRP. The research within the Interdisciplinary Research Platform is highly versatile: in one project, physicists and machine learning researchers may develop data storage that is much more energy-efficient, while in another project, chemical data scientists may collaborate with environmental scientists to adjust large chemical processes to run more efficiently and sustainably. A third project may involve continuous measurements of greenhouse gases to monitor and predict air quality; the research is as exciting as it is societally valuable.

You will be appointed as a Researcher/Coordinator at the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM). This institute is one of the major research institutes of the Faculty of Science at Radboud University, comprising 19 research groups in areas ranging from condensed matter science to organic chemistry and biochemistry.
