The Department of Public Health and Primary Care conducts research on the societal aspects of healthcare. Among its members are experts from a wide range of academic disciplines: disease prevention, health protection, health promotion, quality of care, healthcare policy, bioethics, health law, health economics, health communication, biostatistics, epidemiology, geriatrics and gerontology, nursing and midwifery, emergency medicine, and general practice. Members of the Department conduct interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research with significant national and international impact. They also provide high-quality education in various fields of study. Additionally, they equip professionals and healthcare institutions with insights, concepts, and techniques that enable them to respond optimally to the needs and expectations of patients and society in the field of healthcare. The Department of Public Health and Primary Care offers a dynamic research environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration.
