Job description

How much do we think about the ecological impact of our digital lifestyles? And – what if we knew more about it? For the project Energy Labels for Ecologically Sustainable Digital Services - A Technological, Behavioural, and Legal Perspective (2023 - 2024), we are looking for a research assistant to help programme and carry out a behavioural experiment and produce a policy analysis of the experimental data between December 2023 and the end of the academic year. The experiment has the ultimate goal of promoting responsible and environmentally-friendly consumer behavior in the digital space. The research assistant will undertake a dynamic mix of tasks shared with and guided by a more experienced RA.

What are you going to do?
  • Review of the literature and sourcing of information
  • Programming a simple experiment
  • Organizing the logistics
  • Finally running the experiment at the UvA’s laboratory for social experiments (CREED)
