Job description

We are searching for a research software engineer (RSE) in an existing team of RSEs who can assist in further developing the platform and developing new systems to efficiently unlock existing heterogeneous data using FAIR principles within Radboudumc and beyond.

Radboudumc focuses on data-driven health: AI, e-health, and medical technology. New projects and programs (HealthyData, Sectorplan, HealthRI, Cumuluz) have started that are expediting efforts and collaboration between existing infrastructures (DIAG, IM Data, RTC Datastewardship, RTC Deep Learning). A collaborative in Radboudumc, Diagnostic Image Analysis Group (DIAG, diagnijmegen.nl), has been actively researching Medical Imaging AI for over 30 years, for which the curation and management of general healthcare data are crucial. DIAG has developed and maintains an AI R&D platform (grand-challenge.org) that includes massive data collection, curation, privacy and ownership handling, and ethical requirements for FAIR use in an international cloud setting (BigPicture, PANCAIM, EUCAIM) that we wish to utilize more broadly within Radboudumc.
