Innovation Management is one of three critical business areas covered by the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) department of Technology and Operations Management and is focused on developing strategies, structures and processes to generate, select and implement innovations.

The Innovation Management group at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) invites outstanding candidates to apply for a faculty position as assistant professor in innovation management. As a new faculty member, you join the group at the start of 2025 or at your earliest convenience.

Requirements

We don't require you to start with all the answers; your journey at RSM involves continuous learning and knowledge development.

We are interested in you if you possess one or more of the following:
  • A completed PhD or one that you will defend in 2025 in management, organisation, strategy, organisational behaviour, marketing or a related field with a micro or macro perspective on creativity and/or innovation from a leading business school.
  • Exceptional teaching skills that ignite enthusiasm in the classroom.
  • A demonstrated potential for excellence in research by having papers published in or submitted to highly ranked journals.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a bonus.

Conditions of employment

We offer you:

The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).

Salary is subject to training and experience and may vary and up to a maximum of € 5,929.00 gross per month (scale 11 CAO NU), based on a full-time contract of 38 hours.
