QuTech and QuTech Academy

Job description

Join us in this new role and help us grow the QuTech Academy. Your daily operation in the QuTech Academy will be in collaboration with the QuTech academy lead and the QuTech academy program manager. Additionally, your will interact with numerous stakeholders of some QuTech Academy projects. Your main responsibilities will be to manage several projects and to develop and ensure a smooth run of our communication and outreach platforms. This role will give you the opportunity to have versatile tasks and to grow in your role in the future.

Main Responsibilities but not limited to

  • Contributing to a successful planning, implementation, organization and evaluation of our activities;
  • Coordinating some of the QuTech Academy projects with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Developing communication and outreach material for QuTech Academy activities;
  • Ensuring our outreach platforms, websites, and accounts are up-to-date and contain the right content.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic, independent colleague who is hands on, organized and has the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in parallel. .

Furthermore, you have:

  • A Degree in Business Management or Physics;
  • Experience with a similar position, where coordination of operational tasks were your main responsibilities;
  • Experience in marketing and communications and knowledge/experience in various social media platforms
  • Proficiency in English is a must, Dutch is considered as beneficial;
  • You have an Intrinsic desire to learn and grow.

For this position you must have a Dutch citizenship or a valid European work permit.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

As a Project Leader, you will receive a 1-year TU Delft contract with a potential for a permanent contract. We will offer you a position where you have the space to grow and develop yourself and where you can share your ideas freely. 

On top of that we are also offering:

  • A salary according to the CAO Dutch Universities based on scale 9 from ( € 3377 gross to € 4640 gross );
  • A job from 24h to 38h hours per week;
  • 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%;
