The Mechanical Engineering faculty is seeking a technician to work full-time (1.0 fte) in the laboratories of the Dynamical Systems Design division. In these laboratories experiments are conducted for education and research in the fields of robotics, mechatronics, and automotive technology. The technician we are looking for will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the electrical components of experimental setups in the lab, with a focus on road vehicles and/or their components. This includes for example processing sensor signals and controlling autonomous vehicles, developing a test bench for hybrid powertrains, and realization of a control and data acquisition system for a tire test rig. Designing and realization of these innovative experimental setups is custom work, which is done in close collaboration with students, researchers, and technicians. In this stimulating environment you can develop yourself and grow, with each new setup having its own challenges.
