Job description

As a postdoctoral researcher you will work on a project to determine and optimise the properties of crystalline thermochemical materials in order to select the most suitable materials for use in a heat storage system. This two-year project will be conducted by the Solid State Chemistry group at the Institute for Molecules and Materials (Radboud University, Nijmegen) and is part of a collaboration involving several researchers and academic and industrial partners aiming to develop a commercial heat storage system.

Requirements

As a postdoctoral researcher you must have a PhD in chemistry, physics or materials science and should be interested in the physical chemistry of crystal growth. Experience in a relevant area and good experimental skills are required. This project will be performed through interactions with various people. Good social skills are therefore essential, as is a good command of spoken and written English.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 14 months.


A maximum gross motnhly salary € 4,084 based on a 38-hour working week (salary scale 10)
you will be classified as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Level 4 in the Dutch university job-ranking system (UFO)
