Wageningen University & Research
Wageningen University and Research Centre delivers a substantial contribution to the quality of life. That's our focus - each and every day. Within our domain, healthy food and living environment, we search for answers to issues affecting society - such as sustainable food production, climate change and alternative energy. Of course, we don't do this alone. Every day, 6.500 people work on the 'quality of life', turning ideas in reality, on a global scale. Do you want to be one of these people? We give you the space you need. For further information about working at Wageningen UR, see

QVEThe QVE group has a track record in working on animal diseases and in advising governments and others in managing these diseases. We teach and do research on the epidemiology of diseases in animals, especially in livestock. The emphasis is on the transmission of infectious diseases within and between groups of animals, on factors that influence that transmission and the effect of control measures on it. We also study how micro-organisms evolve to escape the effects of control measures. Therewith we contribute to a more sustainable control of infections among animals. See also our website. (
