You will participate in the research hotspot of Gender and Power in Politics and Management at the Institute for Management Research of the Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University.

The Institute for Management Research (IMR) is the research institute of the Nijmegen School of Management. Our researchers conduct cutting-edge research into complex problems of management and governance, to understand the causes of problems and subsequently develop possible solutions. The institute’s motto is ‘To create knowledge for society’. The problems we study often require a combination of knowledge and expertise from different disciplines and cooperation with socially relevant actors.

The aim of the multidisciplinary hotspot of Gender and Power in Politics and Management is to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of power and gender in different contexts. The knowledge gained is used to reduce gender inequality in organisations, and to promote diversity and inclusion. The starting point is that gender inequality is always linked to other inequalities, such as those of class, age, ethnicity or race, and sexuality. We study formal and informal organisational processes that play a crucial role in maintaining or changing workplace inequalities. We have experience in the field of leadership, organisational change and participatory action research.
