Job description

As All-round Marketer you will further develop and deploy integrated online / offline marketing programs to effectively market TU Delft’s online education portfolio. You will operate between leading academic education on the one hand, and working professionals, multinationals and industry on the other.

Your tasks:

  • Create marketing strategies to promote in particular paid online courses and programs to the relevant target groups. Execute your strategies through online channels (SEA, social media advertising, email campaigns, etc.)
  • Use your writing abilities to create appealing course and program descriptions based on briefs given by course instructors.
  • Improve course pages by acquiring and including new and updated content.
  • Gain a broad understanding of course content (in topics of engineering, science and design) in order to craft appealing messages.
  • Help the team to further develop and execute the B2B marketing strategy.
  • Build relationships with instructors and advise them on the optimal use of their communication channels to promote their course (in their networks and the faculty networks).
  • Support your team in the further development of the Online Learning website, through concept development, design reviews and testing.
  • Facilitate the creation of collaterals (brochures, flyers, landing pages). You will work with our in-house visual designer.
  • Manage the Online Learning twitter account on a periodical basis.
  • Collaborate with other team members in the Extension School to reach the team’s goals (course developers, visual designer, customer support).
  • Manage other general and ad-hoc tasks as required by the team.

You will work closely with the marketers, content manager, communications consultant, student administrators, and business development manager, who together with you form the Extension School Business Team. You will report functionally to the Business Development Manager.

Requirements

You have demonstrable experience in marketing and communications and a passion for technology and education. You are practical and well informed of developments in your professional field. You are a bridge builder and team player, and able to collaborate and manage several projects simultaneously. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus. Finally, we find it important that you have a 'can do' attitude, lead projects from A to Z and are willing to go the extra mile when needed.

In addition, the following skills are required:

  • Experience with running campaigns on Google Ads (search, Remarketing)
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience with creating marketing collaterals and working with designers

The following skills will be an advantage

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience in content marketing
  • Knowledge of Excel.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.

It is a function with a size of 38 hours (1.0 FTE). It is a temporary employment contract for a period of 1 year. The salary is based on scale 10 from the collective agreement for Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 2.709,- and a maximum of € 4.274,- gross per month for a full-time appointment. You will accrue pension via the ABP pension fund.

Besides of course the holiday allowance in May, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December. You can also compile a part of your terms of employment package yourself with the help of the Individual Terms and Conditions package, including buying and selling leave hours.
