As (junior) lecturer you will be part of course teams and have a variety of teaching tasks, such as preparing and teaching courses at bachelor and master level, tutoring of student groups, grading assessments and exams, supervision of theses and other student projects. You will take care of qualitatively good teaching in accordance with academic and faculty guidelines. The educational model is Problem-based Learning. Teaching and working language is English.
The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of sustainable development, and has teaching skills or is willing to acquire them. In particular, you:

Maastricht Sustainability Institute (MSI) is part of the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University, and with its focus on sustainable development in research and education centrally at the interface of science, policy and society. The institute offers the Master programme Sustainability Science, Policy and Society (which attracts a large international, multidisciplinary student population) and is working on a new Master programme in Sustainable Business. The institute provides also sustainability education at bachelor level. The multidisciplinary staff (ca. 40 persons) has an interdisciplinary working style and transdisciplinary interest for addressing sustainability problems.
