Assistant / Associate Professor in Digital Marketing. We seek a colleague coming from any research domain in marketing (consumer behavior, marketing strategy, quantitative marketing) to contribute to our growth ambitions. Applicants who can create synergies with our research and teaching activities in the areas of digital marketing, neuro-marketing, B2B, or marketing research are particularly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will join our High-Tech Business and Entrepreneurship (HBE) department. The HBE department holds a leading position for research intersecting business, technology, and the social sciences. We conduct cross-disciplinary business research, supporting organizations in innovative management and decision-making. Our marketing team in HBE is a growing and collaborative group with a range of research interests and methodological approaches, including digital marketing, marketing analytics, B2B, health marketing. We are committed to creating a collegial and cross-disciplinary environment through collaborations with the behavioral lab (BMS Lab), data science lab (BDSI), and engagement with the businesses and the community.
ResponsibilitiesA successful candidate will
- carry out research in marketing and digital marketing;
- (co-)teach and coordinate courses in our Bachelor and Master programs of (International) Business Administration;
- supervise students in their graduation BA and MSc thesis ;
- work jointly with the BMS lab;
- contribute to our research funding acquisition, and work closely with companies and government agencies;
- contribute towards the supervision of PhD students.
