We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate to develop novel serological immunoassays. These will include assays for measuring concentrations of therapeutic antibodies, and immunogenicity assays (including ELISAs and RIAs), and will be used both to support interdisciplinary clinical research aimed at optimizing the use of biopharmaceutical drugs, as well as implemented in the division of Sanquin Diagnostics as routine diagnostic tests. Results using novel assay from basic as well as clinical cohort studies will form the basis of future publications.
Fixed-term contract: 1 year with possible extension.

The Immunoglobulin Research group is part of the Department of Immunopathology. We investigate structural and functional properties of antibodies with the aim of understanding their role in immunological processes as well as their therapeutic application. The department comprises 40-45 people (postdocs, PhD-students, undergraduate students and technicians) that all work on related research topics.
We collaborate closely with the division Diagnostics, which offers a range of assays for immunogenicity testing and therapeutic drug monitoring of monoclonal therapeutics. Furthermore, we collaborate extensively with clinicians to investigate the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of monoclonal antibodies.
