The HRM department consists of approximately 100 enthusiastic colleagues. In addition to the HR advice team of 30 colleagues, HRM also comprises the Policy, HR services & E-HRM, Learning & Development and Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Radiation (OHSE&R) departments. As a flexible deployable HR Advisor, you will work within a faculty or services department where there is a need for temporary replacement or additional support. You also contribute to the further professionalization and development of HR policy and advice. In addition, you will actively participate in university wide HRM projects. In your role, you will work together with fellow HR advisors and HR service employees.
Your core tasksAs an HR Advisor you will:
- Advise and support managers and staff on an operational/tactical level with regards to (individual) employee and HR related topics;
- Advise the departmental board on HR policy and organizational topics (e.g. strategic workforce planning, absenteeism, recruitment, development);
- Contribute to the development of the HRM university policy and ensure adequate implementation within the organizational unit you work in;
- In your role you will work on building strong connections with your stakeholders and regularly you will take on an advisory and/or coaching role.
